Homegrown Resilience

Worried about petrol prices? Forget about your car, what about food prices when imports are impacted and the trucks can't get food to your supermarket.

There's never been a better time to think about your own local food resilience. Something that has been a big thing for me for many years. I've lasted 8 months in the past eating only fruit & vege from my own garden, including a lot of foraged food.

~ Preserving the Summer harvest for use throughout the year
~ Gathering and dyring herbs for herbal medicine making
~ Making compost & building new beds for more food growing

If you're not sure where to start, I can totally recommend learning to forage NOW. It doesn't take very long, and you can forage for some wild greens for dinner TODAY (unlike vege gardening which takes months to create healthy soil and grow vege)...
